Building a great FEC website is just one part of the equation. The other is growing your traffic and converting more customers. 

If you just opened your first location, you're probably experiencing **low** traffic and **low** [conversion rates.](https://www.wordstream.com/conversion-rate) This means that you probably don't get many people visiting your site, and out of those who do, only a small percentage turn into leads or customers. 

If your business *has* been around for a while, but your website doesn't have an[ online booking option](https://www.partycentersoftware.com/features/online-party-booking/), you're probably experiencing **high** website traffic but **low** conversion rates.

Building content on your own website will improve your site ranking and as a result, increase your chances of getting more website visitors from organic search.

### **2. Seek Referrals**

One of the most effective ways to increase website traffic is to ask for other businesses or platforms to link to your site on theirs. This is called [back linking.](https://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-link-building)

In addition to [Local Citations](https://moz.com/learn/seo/local-citations) from business directories, reach out to local companies or organizations and ask for them to link your website. You’ll increase your chances of getting linked if you have a  specific web page or relevant blog post they'd be happy to share.

### **3. Optimize Your Emails**

While mass email blasts may not be as effective as they used to be, sending personalized emails with information your customers are looking for is. 

Add a form to your site that requests additional guest information (e.g., zip code, first time visitor, favorite attractions, birthday, etc.) in exchange for access to a high-value promotional offer.

With the information you collect, you can send more specific emails with links to web pages, blog posts, or offers your customers are most interested in.

### **4. Include Links with Image Posts**

Posting your customers having fun at your facility is great, but to truly see ROI from your social media activities, consider adding links in your post captions that lead directly to your website. 

For example, add a link to a blog post on how much exercise your kids need along with a picture of kids having fun at your facility or to a landing page where parents can fill out form to obtain an exclusive promotional offer.

Paid ads are a fantastic way to attract new guests to your facility.
