Party Center Software Guest Blog Article Submission: Rules and Guidelines

*Please read before submitting an application for review.*

Featured Topic

All guest posts must be specifically relevant to those working in or with the Family Entertainment Industry.

Our goal is to provide educational content to business owners and employees in this space to help their businesses grow and succeed.

We invite you to check out our previous articles to get a general idea of how our articles are set up, as well as to make sure the article you plan on submitting hasn’t been specifically written about before. (Use our website search feature to double-check that your keyword has not been used!)

All submitted articles must be centered around a chosen keyword or key phrase, and the article needs to be optimized for SEO.

Please enter your article into Yoast or use the GDoc SEO Assistant under the "Add-ons" tab in Google Docs if you’d like to check how your article measures up.

Content

Please try to keep your posts between 1000-2000 words in length. Longer or shorter articles may be considered based on their substance and relevancy.

Only original articles, which have not previously been published, will be considered.

Proper attribution of all data, quotes, and outside content referenced in the article is required.

If your article is selected to be published, we require a three-week waiting period from the date the article is published before you publish it anywhere else online, including on your website or blog.

When republishing, you must write:

“This [ insert the name of your organization here ] article was first published on Party Center Software.”

This must be written at the top of the article, with the words “Party Center Software” linked to the original post on our website.

In addition, the canonical URL must be that of the original posting on our (Party Center Software) website when it is republished on your/your company’s website or blog.

Please check out this article for information on how to ensure you’ve done this.

If you are still unsure how to do this after your research, please contact the PCS Marketing team via marketing@partycentersoftware.com and we will assist you.

Guest articles may include self-promotional or marketing links as long as the content within the article is educational and they are not used in excess. Party Center Software reserves the right to remove any excessive or irrelevant links.

Images

All articles on the Party Center Blog include a header image at the top of the page before the
article begins. Feel free to submit an image you think is suitable, however, Party Center Software reserves the right to use an image of their choosing instead. Please consider looking at our most recent articles for a general idea of the kinds of images we use.

Images submitted and/or used must be either free for commercial use or obtained from an image site you have a paid subscription to, that allows for the commercial use of the image. Sites such as Pexels, Pixabay, StockSnap.io, and Unsplash provide free images with licensing for blogs. You must provide the source for any photo(s) submitted.

This rule also applies to any relevant images you would like to include within your post as well.

Any images used that are not your own should be properly attributed.

Editing

All guest articles must be grammatically correct and free of spelling errors. Party Center Software reserves the right to adapt and make minor edits as we see fit, as well as update it in the future for relevancy and accuracy, without notifying the submitting party.

Author Bio

Please include a brief (no more than a couple of sentences) bio of the author in your submission, which will be posted at the end of the blog article. You may link the author’s name to their/the company’s website or blog, and links to their social media accounts may be included as well.
In addition, please provide a high-quality photograph of the author—at least 300dpi.

Marketing

Once the guest post has been published, we will share it publicly on our Party Center Software social media accounts. We will also share it publicly at random as long as the content is still relevant and remains on our blog. Party Center Software reserves the right to remove the article from our blog in the event the content is not relevant to our target audience any longer.

We will send you a link to the article once it is published. We encourage you to share the article as well—on your social media accounts and/or newsletter, announcement page on your website, etc., where fitting.

Article Acceptance

Submission of an article/application does not guarantee acceptance. In the event of a high level of applicants, we cannot guarantee a response to all submissions.

PCS will review your article and if it is a fit, a member of the Party Center Software marketing team will be in touch.
