Open rate is the percentage of customers that open your email. 

This can help you determine whether your email subject lines are persuasive enough to get a customer to open the email in the first place. 

2. Click Rate

Click rate is the percentage of people who clicked a link in your email out of the total number of delivered emails. 

This metric can help you determine the overall effectiveness of your email marketing campaign.

3. Click-Through Rate

Click-through rate is the percentage of people who clicked one or more links in your email out of the total number of people who saw the email. 

This is probably the most important metric to track because it lets you know whether the content of your email was persuasive enough to get customers to engage with the links provided and not just skim through the email itself. 

4. Bounce Rate

Bounce rate is the percentage of emails that couldn’t be delivered to the customer’s inbox. 

This can help you determine whether it’s time to clean up your email list and remove any emails that may be non-existent, closed, or invalid. It can also help you determine whether it’s time to send a Contact Update form to your customers so that you receive their updated information. 

5. Unsubscribe Rate

The unsubscribe rate is the percentage of people that unsubscribe after opening an email. 

Although some folks are simply tired of receiving emails, this metric can help you determine whether you’re sending too many emails to certain recipients or whether your emails could be more effective and targeted.
