Social media automation helps marketers manage multiple social media accounts, plan posts in advance, and create a backlog of curated content. If you're an FEC owner or operator, automating posts will save you valuable time.

Luckily, there are many helpful tools you can use to manage your business accounts. In this article, we'll highlight 3 tools we think you should implement into your day-to-day marketing activities.

Building a consistent posting schedule is the key to your success on any social platform. The following tools can help you stay organized and boost engagement

1. Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a great service for managing multiple social media accounts. There is a free option available that allows you to manage up to 3 social profiles. You can also test out a paid version for 30 days

Hootsuite allows you to create different tabs and streams that you can populate with information from your accounts.  For instance, you can create a "Twitter tab" with streams for your Timeline, Mentions, Retweets, and more. From just a single user interface, you can monitor what's happening on all of your platforms.

Hootsuite also allows you to publish posts to multiple accounts simultaneously, saving you more time.

2. Buzzsumo

Buzzsumo is a tool that tracks activity on all of the major social media platforms and allows you to discover trending topics related to your domain. By knowing what's going viral, you can create stronger content that'll generate more "buzz". 

Another cool Buzzsumo feature is that it allows you to look for the right influencers in your industry. This way, you can focus on forming a relationship with people that might be interested in visiting your facility, posting about it, and can help you grow your following. 


IFTTT is another great tool for social media automation.  IFTTT (If This, Then That) is a service that connects apps together in "recipes" to make them work better for you. 

For instance, you can set up a recipe that would do the following: If I am tagged in a photo on Facebook, then send me a text message.
